Campaign Story
Help BANTU raise 2,500.00 USD to continue its operations for the next 2 months in Brazil!
The BANTU Cultural Institute, headed by Edielson Miranda (Mestre Roxinho), in a non-profit that uses the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira Angola, culture and social impact programs to empower some of Brazil’s poorest children and their families in the state of Bahia in the northeast of Brazil. BANTU’s programs, all free-of-charge to the community, include Capoeira classes, drumming, african dance, literacy building for children and adults, women’s empowerment, employment training and nutritional support among many others.
Help BANTU continue to support the children and families of this community for the next 2 months! They have currently been approved for a cultural incentive law (lei de incentivo à cultura) and expect to receive sustainable funding in November of this year. They need our help to get through the next two months. Please give what you can! It will make a HUGE difference to so many families!
With many thanks,
Rewards
